Annie Lumsden and Lena Moon are Melbourne based performers, writers and comedians who are all about farts, feminism and feelin’ good.

Since forming their duo in mid 2019, the pair have performed at The Melbourne Fringe Festival where their show earned a Best Comedy Nomination, as well as The Full Hour Show, a panel show that took place at a sold out Howler in early 2020, and various other comedy nights around Melbourne.

The duo came together to showcase Lena’s writing background and Annie’s acting background with the pair having respectively worked on Neighbours, Adult Swim, and Aunty Donna (Various), among many others.

They were set to return for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2020 at Trades Hall but in lieu of that, the pair received a City of Melbourne Quick Arts Grant, and were able to shoot and release a series of filmed sketches with the help of Stupid Old Studios.

After a Best Comedy Nominated run at the 2019 Melbourne Fringe Festival with their first show, sketch duo Annie Lumsden and Lena Moon’s career as a duo is off to a roaring start.

Their first show, This is Our Pilot show, combined sketch, improv and songwriting to deliver rapid fire, absurdly sinister comedy about farts, feminism and feeling good about yourself.

This is Our Pilot is what you get when two Australians butcher Broad City, and dose it with a hint of Absolutely Fabulous. The duo were set to perform this show at Trades Hall for the 2020 Melbourne International Comedy prior to its cancellation. They did, however receive a grant from the City of Melbourne to get some sketches from This is Our Pilot online, which are currently in production.
