Writer - Film Maker - Performer
A true all-rounder, Lena has studied, worked in an official capacity and volunteered in many facets of video production.
In 2013, Lena completed her undergraduate degree in Film and Television at Swinburne University, during which she undertook a six month exchange at Drexel University.
In 2016, she also completed a Master of Screenwriting degree at the Victorian College of the Arts.
Lena's work in various forms of production, from corporate to television, has enabled her to fold these skills back into her own independent video work. Able to make a crust in production, Lena is also experienced in story development, treatment and script writing, writers room note taking, and on set production such as wielding a DSLR, sound kit and video editing. In essence, Lena is able to create and see through video in its entirety.
No stranger to stage, Lena is also a proud ensemble member at the The Improv Conspiracy Theatre, performing in weekly and monthly shows. More on that here.
Lena has also co-produced, written and performed in two hour-long sketch comedy shows at the 2016 Melbourne Fringe Festival and the 2017 Melbourne International Comedy Festival wherein her troupe The Dairy Kweenz were tasked with creating, producing and marketing successful festival runs. More information on that here.
